Paramore- ‘Ignorance is your new best friend’!
After achieving there first Grammy award for best artist of the year in 2008 for there first album release Riot, paramore have come a long way since and are ecstatic to share there newest album brand new eyes with there fellow fans. The band humbly started out in Franklin, Tennessee, where singer/songwriter met josh and jack faro who are brothers from the town, Mississippi. Soon after Hayley at the age of 13 was asked to join a band along with guitarist Jason Bynum and bassist Jeremy Davis and paramour was formed. The band started out performing in school talent shows and hangouts, word had spread that the band were outstanding performers which formally led to higher-level gigs at local rock/ indie clubs.
Paramour had reached success in the year 2007 when there first album ‘RIOT’ was recorded. Although Paramore had quickly become successful, they deeply struggled with fame during this time. With rumours of a breakup the fame had become a Burdon for Hayley but there line up still remained intact, and the band retreated to a California studio in 2009 to work on a third album ‘brand new eyes’ which has gone on to sell over 175,000 copies around the world. Anyone that knows of this band and have not taken interest will be taken away by this incredible new release. With influences from well known indie/rock bands such as ‘Jimmy eat world’ and new ‘found glory’ paramore have strived to capture the attention of all music loving teens across the globe and the ups and downs that they have been through over the past few years has really influence the lyrics in there songs.
Paramore came up with the album name ‘brand new eyes because the have started to see things from a whole new perspective with tickets almost fully sold out Paramore will be launching there new album across the globe from December to March.
Throughout there time of creating ‘brand new eyes’ paramore were going through a really stressful, emotional time, after recording there last album RIOT! There were many pressure filled situations which bought the band closer together and created passion and strive and in there music.
“The making of ‘brand new eyes’ was part of the healing process, it was good for me both as a person and as an artist” (Hayley Williams).
Brand new eyes contain many driving, first pumping anthems such as ‘ignorance’ southing acoustic ballads such as ‘misguided ghosts’ and upbeats pop masterpieces like ‘were the lines overlap’. When singer ‘Hayley Williams sings her ballades ands softens her powerful voice it’s beautifully luscious and shows allot of passion and control, definitely a major goose bump factor. Paramore have strived to create an album that shows many influences in hopes to become a pre-teen by pre-teen and hopefully take over the world in the music industry, and with Hayley Williams venturing into the music industry at the age of 17, and after striving through her misleading, teenage life, she shows a cocky, ignorance attitude in there music, and knows exactly how to capture attention and relate to her fellow audience.
Paramore’s plans for the future are to continue creating breathtaking music in an increasing process. Through worldwide more than ever before there aim is to bring together all music lovers and create a sound like never before.
